AUTONNIC MANUFACTURING, INC. was incorporated on May 29,2001,to own and market proprietary technology developed by  AUTONNIC RESEARCH, INC., a California corporation. AUTONNIC RESEARCH, INC. was incorporated in 1984 to develop and market sensor-based instruments such as engine usage meters, digital compasses and anemometers.

 

BACKGROUND

 

AUTONNIC RESEARCH, INC. has 23 years of experience developing products for domestic and international companies. For the past 6 years AUTONNIC RESEACH, INC. has been developing commercially acceptable products through collaboration with engine and equipment Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM), and aftermarket distribution companies. The proprietary Maintenance Alert Meters is the new product for small engines.

 

In 1990 EPA released data showing that small engines (less than 26 horsepower) generated approximately 10% of the total air pollution. The United States Government’s Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has targeted small engines as source of air pollution and has established a new emissions standard for all such engines. The EPA strategy is to achieve operations peak efficiency by regular maintenance, as schedule by engine manufacturers. The Maintenance Alert Meter, while not mandatory, can assist companies and end-user to monitor maintenance requirements of spark-ignited engines in order to comply with Clean Air Initiatives agenda.

 

OUR PRODUCT

 

AUTONNIC MANUFACTURING, INC., designs and manufactures tachometer and engine usage meters. Our meters are comprised of a patented sensor and patented plastic case that is fitted with a computer chip and a liquid crystal display screen, that attaches to an engine by a sensor lead wire. The meter is designed that it can be used for all spark-ignited internal combustion engines or engine powered equipments. The meter measures and records the engine run hours, continuously displays the operating Revolutions Per Minute (RPM) of the engine, and is programmed to alert the operator of periodic maintenance through the display of internationally recognized ICONS, which appear on the liquid crystal display. The meter is power by a single lithium-ion battery with a life of up to 10 years.

Department Of Defense :

Since 1989, AUTONNIC RESEACH, INC., has had a National Stock Number ( NSN 6625 01 317 3667 ) and was awarded its CAGE 0JG28, as a qualified and approved Department Of Defense manufacturer. In 1986, AUTONNIC RESEARCH, INC., provided the elite NAVY SEALS with a prototype ARM (Autonnic Research Model) 126 engine Usage Log, which became an element for maintaining underwater vehicles. Today, AUTONNIC MANUFACTURING, INC., has an on-going work with the US Navy.

 

Commercial Market :

The Company is initially targeting the market for small engines. These are engines with less than 26 horsepower and typically used on consumer and industrial power equipments, but we will soon expand. Our commercial customers consist of individual end-users, rental and retail companies and OEMs. We have exported our products in Europe, South America and Australia.
